This Westport, CT greenhouse is in need of a wood revitalization to restore the look of this unique greenhouse. 

A rotted post cap is transformed to new with carpentry work as well as a repaint to match the pearly white color of the deck. 

This homeowner has not been able to use her two-tier deck in quite some time due to her new neighbors rebuilding a home next door which led to no privacy. Now that the home is built, the homeowner would like to start enjoying her outside deck again. MDF will come and soft wash the entire deck area as well as spindles and stairs. We will then sand and scrape any loose paint away. Also, we will be replacing a few rotted deck boards. Next, we will be re-staining the entire deck area as well as spindles, top rails, and stairs to give this two-tier deck a brand new look so that the homeowner can now finally enjoy the outside deck again!

This past customer recently sold their Greenwich house (which we painted in 2020) and moved to a larger home in Westport. They want to paint the interior, exterior, cabinets and deck before moving in this summer! MDF will give them the highest quality job so that their young family can enjoy the space free of worry and not having to repaint for a long time. We will be meeting time and budget constraints and creating a custom maintenance plan within our Customer Care Program!

New homeowners just purchased a house not even a year ago and would like to re-stain their deck. The front porch has about six deck boards that are rotted and need replacement. MDF will soft wash the entire exterior deck as well as the spindles, bench area, and lattice. We will replace any rotted deck boards. Then, we will brush a semi-transparent stain into the wood grain and roll two coats of finished semi-transparent stain. This will include all of the spindles, railings, rim joists, built-in bench on the top of the deck, and all lattice.

This homeowner is in need of a kitchen cabinet makeover. With over 100 LF of cabinet assemblies, islands, and other custom built-ins, this is a job for only the most skilled of craftsmen! MDF will come in and take all cabinet doors and cabinet drawers off and transport them to our temperature-controlled warehouse where we will properly sand and prep before applying any primer. Finally, we will spray all cabinets with 2 finish coats of paint to assure a long-lasting finish. The hardware is also changing!

The homeowner is in a need for a uniformed transformation of this beautiful home as well as some carpentry work completed to keep their home looking fresh and new. Customers from Westport, CT were in need of some MDF love. Their interior walls were bland and boring and it was time to bring some life into this space. Our team consulted with the customers and agreed on a light shade of olive green. This color was the perfect choice because it brought light into the room, yet it wasn't too obnoxious. We applied primer and a smooth topcoat of paint and the customers loved the outcome!

Our team at MDF revived an interior in Westport, CT. The paint on the walls was worn down and overall, the interior looked dull and bland. We spot spackled the walls and then primed the area. We added a fresh shade of light yellow to the walls. Additionally, we painted the bathroom a neutral shade of beige. This home is drastically improved, great job team!

Sandra from the Sorelle Gallery in Westport, Connecticut contacted MDF for an interior painting service. Our crew first made sure the floors and furniture were covered before prepping and priming the walls. They then applied a pure white color to the walls, removing any discoloration they previously had. Sandra loved the final outcome of the interior painting service. The freshly painted white walls make the gallery art pop! 

Derek from Westport, CT wanted to improve the look of the exterior of his home and protect it from weather damage and rotting. The siding looked dull and had discoloration. Our team scraped off any loose paint and then primed the surface. We painted a top coat of gray on all sides of the home. The finish looked smooth and fresh. Derek is also relieved because his exterior is now protected and he loved the quality of our work!

Greg from Westport, CT has a beautiful outdoor patio with window screens. The wooden borders around the screens were dull and chipping. Our team scraped off any flaking wood, cleaned the surface, and stained the wood. We made sure to carefully paint the area so that no stain would get on the white siding. The wood looks so much brighter and cleaner. Greg was thrilled and can't wait to enjoy the area in the warm weather!

Andy & Kathy called MDF to professionally power wash the exterior of her home. The entire surface area of their home, porches, walkway, and back patio were soaked with cleansing solutions to eat away at the dirt, mold, and mildew. Next, the entire surface areas were thoroughly power washed with up tp 2450+ PSI (Pressure per Square Inch) pressure washer to ensure a fully cleaned surface. 

Jacqueline called MDF to power wash only the left and back of the house. She also requested we soft wash the entire deck, we wanted to avoid stripping the deck with the pressure, so we used a lower PSI. The crew did a few touch ups while they were there like painted certain areas where the paint was peeling on the floor and the post. Jacqueline decided to supply the paint for the deck and for the touch ups we color matched the existing color. 

      Lori C. of Westport called MDF Painting to restore the fences around her home. She had both privacy and cattle fences surrounding her property that had peeling issues. MDF painters prepped to stain them with a pressure washing job. Then, they sanded each rail of the cattle fence and the privacy fences to ensure the peeling paint was gone. This lays down a smooth surface for the new stain to adhere,which is ideal. Painters added coats of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes Solid Stain White. Lori loved the look of her new fences!

 Curt & Rita S. of Westport called MDF Painting to update their interiors with new paint. They requested 11 areas to be painted during their project. MDF was excited to get started!
 Painters prepped for painting in the dining room, living room, hallways, stairs, kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the laundry room. These rooms were painted from the ceilings to the doors and baseboards. Painter's attention to detail was key in this project. Benjamin Moore's products in Eggshell and Satin finishes were the best choice for this project. Colors included White Diamond, Chalk White, Grey Cloud, and Chantilly Lace. These shades of whites and grays made for a modern color palette throughout the home. Curt & Rita loved it!

       Pam C. of Westport called MDF Painting for a complete exterior overhaul after receiving our monthly newsletter. The project she had in mind included the exterior staining of her wood-paneled home, deck floor sanding, and carpentry.

       Pam also requested that MDF hand-clean the gutters, and the moss growing on the garage roof. The pressure washing was completed one week in advance, and it covered the entire siding plus the porch and deck floors. The carpentry included in this project focused on the roofline, garage, and decks. The clapboard, fascia for the front and back, and the soffit return were all repaired. For the garage, three pieces of molding were replaced, the door jamb and the trim too. The column bases for the front porch pillars were causing concern, so both were repaired. The deck gate had a latch, a hinge, and a wheel added.

      The painting portion of this exterior project included painting the siding and deck staining. Sherwin Williams Emerald Satin and Sherwin Williams Woodscapes were the best choices for this project. Pam's Westport home is now several shades lighter; the color she chose was a soft and creamy beige. She adored the results! MDF was thrilled to be a part of the process.
