Power Washing and Interior Painting in New Haven, CT
Challenge
John E. of New Haven called MDF Painting to power wash the exterior of his home. After impressing him with a thorough job well done, John called back and requested his interior painted in stages.
Solution
When power washing, technicians mixed a cleaning solution to coat the home with before pressure washing everything off. This included washing off the roof and gutters. For the interior painting, painters tackled the kitchen, the cabinets, and the hallway first. These cabinets were lightly sanded and primed before using a spray application for a smooth and even coat. The kitchen and hallway needed the wallpaper removed, which requires resurfacing to remove any traces of glue. A skim coat of plaster smoothed the walls over before adding primer and paint. The walls, doors, trims, and baseboards were painted. Painters came back later to paint the stairs and second-floor hallway. John loved the results of his updated and cleaned home!
