Exterior Painting for New Homeowner in Darien, CT
Challenge
Daniel P. called MDF Painting after moving into his new home in Darien. He got a card congratulating him on his new home with a gift card for a discount on new painting projects. He wanted to paint the sections of his exterior that were shingled. His beautiful new home was mostly stone but had small areas of siding and trim that had mildew and peeling paint issues.
Solution
MDF sent power washing technicians to the home a week before the painting was scheduled to start. This process ensures the siding would be completely dry to address the peeling paint problems. Painters came to sand the home and removed the deteriorating paint. Then, they added a fresh primer and paint. The previous color was a faded green with gray tones. Daniel wanted to compare how white or grey shades would look with the stone before choosing a clean white hue. It complemented the stone perfectly, and Daniel loves the new look for his new home!
