Exterior Painting in West Haven, CT
Challenge
Jim S. called MDF Painting after being referred by a friend. He was looking to address the peeling issues on the exterior of his home in West Haven, but he also wanted a painting company that would provide long-term maintenance.
Solution
MDF power washing technicians soaked the home with cleaning solutions and rinsed it off thoroughly. The paint crew sanded down the peeling paint to the bare wood siding. They prepped for new paint by using Fresh Start oil-based primer, a rust inhibitor treatment for the nails, and Big Stretch Premium Caulk to seal any gaps. Benjamin Moore Regal Select exterior paint was applied to the trim in a semi-gloss finish. For the siding, painters chose Benjamin Moore Regal Select in a flat finish. The colors remained the same, so each product was custom color-matched. Jim was so impressed by MDF's work he also recommended us to a friend!
