Interior Painting on a Historical Office in Greenwich, CT
Challenge
The operators of a historic office in Greenwich, Connecticut hired MDF for interior painting service. The walls of the commercial office were originally very boring. They were just a plain off-white color, which was painted years ago. The operators contacted MDF as they wanted to create a unique panel effect on one of the walls.
Solution
MDF was happy to transform the walls of the commercial building. After discussing in detail what the customer wanted, our team was able to create a draft of what the wall panel would look like. The crew immediately used the draft to tape up the shapes on the wall and then covered the floors with a material to protect the surfaces. The crew then followed the draft and cut the pieces of wood to the desired measurements. They combined the pieces of wood together and pasted them on the walls to create the rectangular effect. It was time to sand the surfaces, so the crew used fine-grit sandpaper to smooth down each wall of the office. They then spot-primed the walls and applied the paint. They used white, grey, and dark grey colors to give a beautiful effect. The historic office looks much more updated, and the customer is so happy with the final product.
