Painting for Charity in Connecticut

MDF Painting & Power Washing is a painting company that is serious about serving our local community. We strive to embody the Boston College motto of: "men and women for others" in both our words and actions.

A few community-minded things that make MDF unique:

• Employee Owned. Our company is entirely "employee-owned." This means that all eligible employees share in our financial success through a matching 401k retirement plan and a full year-end safe harbor profit sharing. This means that every one of tenured employees shares in our company and has a real stake in our mutual success.
• Community Service Projects. MDF Painting & Power Washing participates in quarterly community service projects that range from volunteering at the CT Food Bank to painting underfunded classrooms for local schools.
• Our annual "$5,000 Charity Paint Project." Our community service committee selects 1 family in need each year to re-paint their home free of charge. Please email us to request an application.

Charity Spotlight:

MDF Painting Vice President, Lisa

Lisa has always had a big heart and doesn't hesitate to take care of those in need. She started a monthly community brigade to provide sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and other provisions for the homeless community in New Haven as part of the Church's Midnight Run Program. This program has morphed into an event that has introduced dozens of children to the importance of community service.

We at the MDF family are so proud to have someone as giving as Lisa as our Vice President. She consistently leads through example, and on this particular occasion, she was honored with the Mayor's Merit Award. Even as she humbly accepted this, she turned to the others who helped her get there, much like she does with her office. We continue to strive in excellence in all areas of life as she does.
