Exterior Carpentry and Re-Painting in New Haven, CT
Challenge
Jack C. is a property manager for one of the many three family homes in East Rock, New Haven. He contacted MDF to update the exterior of his rental with new paint, and because he was concerned about possible damage to the siding.
Solution
At the consultation appointment, the possible damage areas were assessed. The front side required stair replacements, window trim replacement, and repairs to the soffit, and fascia. In the back, mortar joints needed to be re-caulked. The left corner trim was replaced as well as the clapboard on all sides of the home. All of the pieces that needed replacement used cedar planks. This unique salmon-colored home was custom matched for the repainting. The details for the front porch were hand-painted to not lose the unique qualities. Jack loved the results of his exterior painting project!
