Concrete Painting in Cheshire, CT
Challenge
Steve F. has a unique look to his Cheshire home: stucco with half-timbered wood trim. If you're familiar with Tudor Revival, his house is a modern example of the classic style. It looks best when the siding and trim are two different colors. Steve wanted to keep this as he called MDF Painting for an exterior update. MDF's go-to products cater to wooden and vinyl siding, but they were able to find the perfect products, to repaint this Tudor Revival right!
Solution
Loxon Primer is for mason and concrete surfaces. It seals and adheres to porous surfaces such as concrete, plaster, and stucco. After power washing the stucco plus the deck, including railings, spindles, and stairs, the primer went on. In addition to using the Loxon, they applied an oil-based rust-inhibitive primer all nail heads. From here, the half-timbered trim was color-matched in Sherwin Williams Emerald Sating finish. The stucco was also custom mixed, and painters went with Sherwin Williams Loxon paint. The results were fantastic! Steve's home is brighter, and he loves the final product.
