Interior Pool House Painting in Easton, CT
Challenge
Glenn S. of Easton has an adorable pool house at the edge of his backyard. It was professionally painted 7 years before, and he wasn't happy with the results. He called MDF Painting after receiving a flyer in the mail to refresh the peeling paint.
Solution
The deteriorating paint called for a top to bottom interior renovation. The walls, ceiling, door & window trim, doors, benches, and cabinets were all listed for re-painting. Instead of picking up samples and painting them onto surfaces as needed, Glenn decided to go to the store and pick the paint himself. This kind of flexibility sets MDF apart from other painting contractors. After the paint color choice, the next step is the re-surfacing. Sanding off areas that are cracking and have peeling paint makes the new paint blend. Glenn chose a classic bright white for the interior benches, walls and ceilings, while the cabinets were a dark and riveting blue. These colors matched the stone counter top above the cabinets perfectly and went with the pool house vibe. The crew utilized a sprayer for painting the benches, ceiling, and walls. The cabinets were painted by hand to avoid splatter. The paint crew used the exact shade of dark blue on the front door as the last part of this project. It really pulled the entire home together in terms of color, and Glenn was captivated by the results!
