Interior Painting in Glastonbury, CT
Challenge
Jared B. called MDF Painting to update the interior of his home in Glastonbury. He was hoping to tackle some minor repairs and repainting in one project. Jared also wanted different colors for the rooms. MDF was happy to help with everything and scheduled him for the late summer.
Solution
Areas to be painted included the dining room, living room, and a bathroom on the second floor. Painters prepped by filling in holes, repairing cracks, and replacing the caulking. After all these dried, painters utilized a pole sander for a smooth surface. These rooms were painted top to bottom, including the color changes on the walls, ceilings, trims, and molding. This project included a mix of Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paint products and featured mostly matte finishes. For the living room, painters added an accent wall in Benjamin Moore's Oxford Gray (2128-40), while the rest of the walls used Sherwin Williams Wonderus Blue (SW 6807). The dining room was painted Sherwin Williams Sommelier (SW 7595), and the bathroom featured Sherwin Williams Liquid Blue (SW 6779). All the ceilings used Sherwin Williams Rock Candy (SW 6231), and all the trim used Sherwin Williams Oyster White (SW 7637). Jared loved the look of his new interiors!
